SUNDAY SCHOOL BEGINS ITS NEW ACADEMIC YEAR

On Sunday 20 September 2026, after the Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Cathedral, the first bell rang at the cathedral’s Sunday school, marking the start of the new academic year.

The parents of the pupils organised a festive meal. During it, the school’s spiritual father, Priest Maxim Politov, key-keeper of the cathedral, addressed the teachers, parents and children with a word of encouragement.

The teachers then presented the programme of classes for the year ahead, each for his own group. The school’s director and administration outlined the main events planned for the coming year.

The gathering took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Classes at the cathedral’s Sunday school are held on Sundays, and the children are taught in age groups.
