ICON OF SAINT SAVVA OF SERBIA DONATED TO TRINITY CATHEDRAL

The Holy Trinity Cathedral in Paris was presented with an icon of St. Sava of Serbia.

This icon, depicting one of the most revered Serbian saints, was brought from Belgrade by Natalia Shatilina, the president of the Serbian-Russian Charitable Foundation, and was presented on March 10, 2025, to the cathedral’s sacristan, Priest Maxim Politov.

Father Maxim thanked the Serbian delegation for the gifted icon, emphasized the importance of maintaining strong spiritual ties with the fraternal Serbian people, and gave the guests a tour of the cathedral.

The event was also attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bosnia and Herzegovina to France, Bojana Kondić-Panić, and the director of the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center in Paris, Anna Kotlova.
