THE ASCENSION OF CHRIST: METROPOLITAN NESTOR CELEBRATED THE LITURGY AT THE CATHEDRAL

On May 29, the Feast of the Ascension of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Most Holy and Life-Giving Trinity in Paris.
Concelebrating with the Patriarchal Exarch were:
Fr. Maksim Politov, Secretary of the Korsun Diocesan Administration,
and the clergy of the Holy Trinity Cathedral:
Protopriest Igor Trofim,
Priest Georgy Sheshko,
Priest Daniil Naberezhny,
Priest Antoniy Sidenko,
Protodeacon Nikolai Rebinder,
Deacon Roman Onika,
and Deacon Euphrazios Desanlis.
The liturgical hymns were performed by the cathedral’s hierarchical choir under the direction of Marina Politova.
Before Communion, the homily was delivered by Priest Georgy Sheshko.
Following the post-Communion prayer, Fr. Maksim Politov addressed the faithful with a message of spiritual encouragement.
