METROPOLITAN NESTOR SERVED A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR THE PRINCE ALEXANDER TRUBETSKOY

On the evening of August 2, 2025, the Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, served a memorial service for the newly-departed Prince Alexander Alexandrovich Trubetskoy (1947–2025), who passed away on July 30 of this year in Moscow.
The funeral service took place at the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Paris in the presence of the clergy and parishioners of the cathedral.
The newly-departed Prince Alexander was an honorary member of the diocesan association ACDEOR, an active participant in the Society of Friends of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Nice, a long-standing parishioner of the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen in Clamart, and a devoted and active figure in the church and social life of the Russian Orthodox community in France.
