Priests help prepare for the Sacrament of Marriage — the Christian marriage of the future spouses.

During several conversations with the pastor, the future husband and wife reflect on the righteous marriage using the examples of the union of Abraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca (see the Book of Genesis).

The priest explains the sequence of the Rite of the Sacrament of Marriage and the symbolic meaning of the crowns that will be placed on the heads of the spouses during the Wedding.
