METROPOLITAN MARK CELEBRATED A BAPTISMAL LITURGY AT THE CATHEDRAL

On Friday 30 October 2026, the commemoration of the Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian, Metropolitan Mark of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, celebrated a baptismal Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in Paris. The cathedral clergy concelebrated with His Eminence.

The hymns were sung by the choir under the direction of Nun Valentina (Chunchuk).

Three young parishioners of the cathedral received the sacrament of Baptism.

The baptismal Liturgy is a revived practice of the early Christians. Two sacraments, Baptism and Chrismation, are woven into the order of the Liturgy itself.

At the end of the service, Metropolitan Mark addressed the newly baptised and their parents with a word of encouragement.
